What do we do?

At FreeStar Subsea Services you can charter the SSV Navicula Star as a base for your subsea projects. The vessel is operated by qualified personnel and equipped with everything necessary for a safe and successful mission. In addition, you can opt for additional services such as ROVs, tools, and USVs for inspections and data collection, consultancy and project management or extra specialists or customised solutions. Everything is arranged through a single point of contact.

Fleet - navicula star

Our fleet

The Navicula Star is the heart of our operations. Specifically built for the Wadden Sea and coastal areas, with a draught of only 1.10 metres. This allows the vessel to operate where others cannot and even run aground on the beach.

With modern equipment such as an A-frame, deck crane, winches and a permanent ROV, the Navicula Star can be used for a wide range of subsea projects.

Yes, she is very fuel efficient, she burns 50 liter per hour when working.

Yes, she can sail on HVO, GTL, or Fame. 

We can host 8 client crew in 4 cabins.

Yes, we can host 2 ROV’s at the same time. 

We have 1 Aframe of 5 tons SWL, one hydraulic crane which can extend to 11 meter and can lift 2tons. There is a 1ton SWL davit to launch ROV’s.
